"The Wire" was great television. However, for many in the public unfamiliar with Baltimore it has become a short cut narrative for the city itself. This blog is for my fellow Baltimoreans tired of rolling their eyes and biting their tongue every time we are asked "Is Baltimore really like The Wire?"
